I use a person centered directive approach that encourages self compassion. I practice using a Trauma Informed Care lens with strong Harm Reduction influences. Prior to going into private practice I worked in multiple social services roles providing care to individuals who have been deeply marginalized and stigmatized by society. I have experience working at a Syringe Exchange Program (SEP), in housing for formerly homeless individuals with significant mental health concerns, and with individuals in the carceral system under the New York Bail Reform Act. I believe that lived experience is the best form of education and recognize that clients are the experts in their own lives. Understanding that people who seek out counseling come from diverse backgrounds and experiences I ensure my approaches are intersectional, inclusive, and stigma free.

My office hours are Monday through Thursday from 11AM to 7:30PM, and I am currently seeing people remotely only via HIPAA-compliant Zoom. Please feel free to contact me directly to talk about fees and what times are available.
