How I work with Clients
Engaging in any therapeutic process can be intimidating and overwhelming. My goal is to reduce those feelings and create a safe, engaging space for you to explore yourself. Providing you with authenticity, attentiveness and curiosity will allow us to develop a genuine rapport. This is your therapy, your journey. This work does require a commitment - a commitment to yourself. I do not tell you what to do or how to do it. We brain storm and discover together. I will ask you about your history, your interests in plant medicine, and your objectives. We will outline your intentions before engaging in your journey and we will explore the different possibilities to utilize after your journey. This will help you reach your goals and integrate the insights and lessons that you have learned.
Treatment Approach
Prior to beginning any work together we will have a conversation to determine if we are a good fit for one another. The next step is the intake process which is typically a 45 minutes session. There is basic psychosocial information, demographic information, medical history, current presenting issues and a symptom checklist that you need to complete prior to the first session. Confidentiality is also my number one goal as this is such a personal relationship and experience.
