Rudi Somerlove
Bio :
After reading about certain mushrooms containing psilocybin, Rudi first used psychedelics at the age of 13 after searching them locally. Although he later entered a career in IT & finance, psychedelics continued to be a feature of his life.
At the age of 48, Rudi went to an ayahuasca retreat in Peru. This retreat proved to be a catalyst in transforming Rudi’s life. Anything that no longer resonated with his higher self was dropped. Moreover, he took a leap of faith abandoning the security of his career for a new life helping others to heal themselves with psychedelics.
He founded Metamorphogenesis in 2016 to facilitate others with psychedelic healing modalities. In 2017, he and Brid Ni Fhoighil launched the Summer of Love 3.0. to better spread the word about the psychedelic renaissance. They created a series of events that included a ‘psilohuasca’ ceremony for 50 people with sound healing and gentle acoustic performances.
Recently, along with Brid and Dr. Aleksi Hupli PH.D., he set up the ASPIRE Foundation for Non-Profit Healing. “ASPIRE” stands for Amsterdam Space for Psychedelic, Integration, Research, and Education, a centre for non-profit psychedelic healing in a naturalistic setting.
