  • I came to this church to train to be a bufo facilitator with my boyfriend in October 2023.

I will start by saying that I am grateful for my experience and lessons learned, but this is NOT a place for anyone in a vulnerable state to be in. I think that Brooke means well; but her addiction overshadows her heart.

My intuition immediately was waving red flags when I saw how much of the medicine was being taken by the facilitators during the ceremonies. I didn’t understand how people could be safe while in the medicine, while there was no one there to coherently look over them.

She said that she would go in with them and be able to pinpoint any blockages that they had and help release them. From an outside perspective, she would just stand there with her face twitching, and occasionally vomiting on the sand where people step barefoot.

It got to the point where my boyfriend and I had to hide our vaping devices and medicine because she would smoke all of hers and then come up to our bags, unzip them and take our medicine without even asking.

I am a psychic medium and I have been studying spiritual science for 7 years. I am very familiar with what true spirituality and healing looks like, and I have extensive experience with teaching and practicing several different modalities. Brooke has not done anything besides bufo to heal her spiritual and emotional vessel, and she actually refused to try tapping because she said it “freaked her out”. Because God forbid, she actually do the real work and stop hiding behind the idea that bufo is this magical cure-all. Brooke knows nothing about spiritual science and the work required to come into alignment and heal. She offers zero integration for the students or anyone else who participates in a ceremony. She has a weekly zoom “integration” meeting but usually it’s chaotic with loud dogs barking in the background and it rarely stays on topic.

After graduating the training, my boyfriend and I stayed for an additional six weeks to gain more experience in the ceremony space. I wanted to return home immediately after graduation, but he wanted to spend extra time there and make sure he was confident in his skills. I was alarmed when Brooke told me that she “wanted me to be pregnant” out of the blue. It wasn’t until later on that I realized that she is a cult leader (look up Waco TX). She frequently mentioned “bufo babies” and the former students who conceived during their training.

The first week we were there she randomly asked my boyfriend if he would be secretary of the church, and she told us that she wanted us to move in and stay there forever.

She caused a ton of chaos in my relationship with him by using manipulation and gaslighting to make us both question our reality. I began feeling like she wanted him to stay and she wanted me to leave. For the remaining six weeks, I volunteered my time to help facilitate for every ceremony that took place at the church. When I got home, I told her that I wasn’t sure if my boyfriend and I were going to stay together and I wanted to see if I’d be able to make future orders for medicine, so I could continue serving. She told me that I would have to pay to send someone to her church to train to be my helper, and that she didn’t think I was ready to serve on my own because I wasn’t as “active” in the ceremony space as my boyfriend was. When in reality, I did her job for her, for six weeks while she stumbled around in a stupor, and she didn’t remember because she was in the chaos of her addiction.

She also sent me a text bragging about how she served a 12 year old with a heart condition. That was enough for me and I realized that I could no longer have ties to such a reckless and careless person. When she realized that I figured out who and what she really was; she tried to manipulate my boyfriend into leaving me for good; and into going back to her “church” aka cult.

USNT is a textbook cult. I do believe that bufo can help many people, but everything has a dark side and as far as I’m concerned, USNT is the bufo underworld.
