Every client begins with a comprehensive evaluation, including labs and a psychiatric consult or referral. Treatment starts only after our clinical team has reviewed that evaluation and agreed that it is an appropriate fit. Evaluation and treatment never happen on the same day.

Each session takes place in a private room with a comfortable recliner, soft lighting, and quiet music. Our team stays with clients throughout the visit and explains what to expect before, during, and after each session.

For Spravato, referring providers can send patients to us. We handle the evaluation, prescribing, prior authorization, and in-office treatment, and we send progress notes back to the referring provider.

All major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted for consultations. Spravato is covered by BCBS, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Medicare, and Medicaid.

We offer three treatments:

• IV ketamine infusions, given in a medically supervised setting.

• Spravato® (esketamine) nasal spray, an FDA-approved treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression.

• Nitrous oxide therapy, at a low 25% concentration during one-hour sessions. There is no IV, and no driver is needed afterward.

We see treatment as one part of a larger path. Clients are encouraged to pair their sessions with counseling and with attention to sleep, nutrition, and daily routines. Dr. Matthys builds each plan around the person’s history and goals.
