I first met Dr. Best in 2018 when I was at the lowest point of my life. He looked me in the eyes and said that he could get me better. This man and his staff saved my life. The Neuroscience center works miracles. Dr. Best and his staff are truly remarkable. I look forward to going to the Neuroscience Center knowing I am getting the best care out there
Dr. Best is an amazing physician. His empathy for patients and their families is above and beyond. He has always been patient, calm and kind during appointments. He is exceptionally inquisitive and intelligent. So grateful.
In his words, volume, tone, body posture and facial expressions, we have never encountered such an unprofessional, demeaning, ill-tempered, disrespectful bully as Steve Best. We took a youngster there once, and even now, years later, I regret subjecting my child to him.
Dr. Best has saved our daughter’s life, and helped our family manage her bipolar in a way that no other doctor has ever been able to do. We are very grateful.
It’s important to know that this doctor is NOT a neurologist but rather a psychiatrist. He told me I had epilepsy and placed me on medication for it. I went to a real neurologist and there was no evidence of epilepsy. He also charged me 10,000$ and expected me to pay in one lump sum. He said many of my services would be free of charge and then handed me this ridiculous bill. It was a bad experience. Also, SPECT scanning is totally unnecessary medically and will not tell you anything special. It’s a research tool
