Dr. Tabrah is a board-certified psychiatrist who grew up in Ohio then moved to the Chicago area for college where she attended Northwestern University. Pursuing a medical career seemed natural to her as her parents practiced cardiology and gynecology. After graduating from the Medical College of Ohio in 1996 she eventually chose to specialize in psychiatry, much to their surprise. At the University of Florida in Gainesville, she learned from world-renowned psychiatry professors and co-authored a paper on MDMA during her residency.
In 2002, she joined a private practice in Brevard County in which she treated patients in a variety of capacities including office setting, via a consultation-liaison service for patients on medical floors as well as patients in a behavioral unit. In 2009, Dr. Tabrah moved to SWFL to be closer to family. She shifted gears to work for a community mental health center in Fort Myers, eventually moving farther south to Naples.
Dr. Tabrah joined the Alleviant team in 2019 initially focussing primarily on TMS mappings. In May 2020 she became medical director of Alleviant Naples to further assist the Durands with treating patients in innovative ways.
