All of yourself is welcome here! Extending gentle invitation to the most guarded and shameful (feeling) parts of ourselves allows us to be more free from the discomfort of unconscious longing, grief, and wounding which when unhealed can contribute to those parts reacting in defense, often alienating ourselves from wished for connection to self, other, and Source. Through interpersonal trust building and trust in the medicine, those shadow selves can be invited to speak their needs in a physically and emotionally safe experience. Knowing when to dive a little deeper and ask curious questions and when to trust the internal experience of the journey is very similar to trusting and knowing when to intervene in the birth process. You are birthing and giving expression to a new part of Self!
