Mahan Ostadian, DO, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist by the American Board of Anesthesiology currently practicing at Republic Spine and Pain, with locations in Austin and Georgetown, Texas. Dr. Ostadian is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Travis County Medical Society, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management, and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Ostadian attended the University of Texas in Austin, where he began his premedical training and obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology. He completed his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. While there, he was on the Dean’s List for academic excellence.
He then pursued his residency in anesthesiology at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Ostadian remained on staff at Scott and White. He served as an assistant professor of anesthesiology and helped treat patients’ post-operative pain. Dr. Ostadian then earned a fellowship in interventional pain management at the respected UT Southwestern School of Medicine and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
