How I work with Clients
The material that we work with is drawn from a broad range of sources:
SMART Recovery tools
Dharma Recovery wisdom
12 Step foundations
The result is an experience that puts you in contact with a range of useful tools and perspectives, as well as the support to carve your own meaningful path.
Who will benefit most?
Journey Recovery VIOP may not be a good fit for everyone. The program is designed for those who:
Have other strong support in their recovery. If you already have a place to live, a good environment, and other supportive people around you, an online environment can add several strong layers of support.
Cannot continue in-patient. Either you’ve already been through in-patient aftercare, you can’t afford it, you need to work or be with your family, or for another reason. It’s time to be at home, but you want to focus more deeply on recovery.
Can keep to a schedule. You don’t have a problem showing up on time, keeping up with tasks (this is not designed to be stressful!). You just need some guidance, tools, and to apply yourself to this next phase of your growth.
Are already in recovery. This program is designed as ibogaine aftercare. Even if you’re already well past your ibogaine experience, this is a strong way to reboot or dig deeper in your recovery path.
Need something new. You’ve been around 12 Steps or other programs, but are looking for a community that better understands non-conventional recovery experience. Journey is flexible, and offers something off the beaten path.
