Veterans seeking PTSD treatment with psychedelics just got a boost.

Psychable, an online community interested in legally exploring or offering psychedelic-assisted therapy, has partnered with the nonprofit Heroic Hearts Project (HHP) to launch #NatureHeals, a social media movement that aims to increase education around natural entheogens through testimonials. The campaign is also soliciting donations to support research using psychedelic treatment to treat veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

HHP connects military veterans struggling with mental trauma to psychedelic therapy options, primarily to ayahuasca retreat centers, but also with psilocybin and ketamine treatments. The organization also provides support and professional counseling to veterans who choose psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy throughout the process.

#NatureHeals will focus on the stories of individuals whose lives have been profoundly transformed for the better with the help of psychedelic therapies to help break down the stigma that has plagued the medicines since the War on Drugs.

“The first step in changing legislation around psychedelic-assisted therapy and restoring access to natural medicines is changing the conversation, and that’s exactly what we hope to do by launching #NatureHeals,” said Jemie Sae Koo, CEO & Founder, Psychable.

Anyone who has a positive, life-altering experience with any psychedelic substance or treatment method is encouraged to share their story on social media using the #NatureHeals hashtag.

“A profound psychedelic experience can heal so many different parts of the body, nature is so much smarter than we give it credit for,” said Jesse Gould, founder and president of the Heroic Hearts Project. “#NatureHeals is important work to continue advocacy and destigmatize the use of psychedelics as medicine.”
