Krystal Brisette Vélez-Gómez-Edwards
Bio :
Krystal, a.k.a. The Curandera: Ceremonialist & Cúrate Corazón Founder
Honoring Tradition: Sacrament Energies in Ceremonial Therapy
In my practice, I adhere to the belief that serving/facilitating requires a deep level of maturity and life experience. Therefore, I typically refrain from allowing individuals under the age of 30 to participate in Ceremony. This stems from the understanding that younger individuals may not have fully-developed personalities or the necessary life experiences to integrate the profound insights gained.
I am deeply protective of my culture and the sacred traditions associated with my ancestral practices. It pains me to see individuals self-proclaiming as facilitators without understanding or respecting the sacredness and the cultural belonging in addition to support outside of facilitaion, like integration. True facilitation requires years of dedication, dieta, shadow work, training, and reverence for the substance and its cultural significance.
In serving 5-MeO-DMT and Psilocybin, I strive to create a safe and sacred space where my brothers and sisters can embark on transformative journeys of self-(re)discovery and healing. Each ceremony is conducted with the utmost love and respect, honoring ceremony.
As a custodian of the God Molecule and Magical Mushrooms, I am committed to upholding their integrity and guiding others with wisdom, humility, and respect. May we continue to honor the sacredness of 5-MeO-DMT and Psilocybin and the profound wisdom they hold for those who approach with sincerity and reverence.
Furthermore, I am committed to enlightenment. I am dedicated to encompassing the true meaning of Curandera, and guiding healing in all ways. On this journey with Creator, I was led to my life's work.
I am passionate about life and existence and I aspire to be a light and bring healing, love, and joy to all my sisters and brothers.
Amor y Bendiciones,
Krystal, The Curandera
