About the Hosts & Speakers
The hemp industry has come a long way since the Nashville community first embraced us for the inaugural Southern Hemp Expo in 2018. With the historic passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, which made hemp legal again for the first time in over 80 years to be grown and sold in the U.S., the hemp industry charged at the opportunity to start a new era of regenerative agriculture. One of the most important gatherings in the Eastern U.S., the Southern Hemp Expo (SHE) brings together top business leaders, professionals, farmers, manufacturers, advocates and many others striving to succeed, build value and chart a course for the future in an exploding and often unpredictable marketplace. As the world reconvenes in 2021, we’ll come together for an exciting weekend of the Let’s Talk Hemp education series, Business Conference, Farm Symposium, Education Stage, and industrial hemp trade show exhibition. Over the past few years, we have seen tremendous growth and advancement of this industry through innovation, technology, science and a significant amount of grass roots activism. Not without growing pains, we’ve also faced many struggles, including the wake of COVID-19, yet we continue to forge ahead with determination and fortitude to achieve something that will benefit the planet. Bringing balance back to Mother Earth represents the collective good we as humans bring together in the name of hemp. We appreciate what each one of you have done to advance the cannabis industry and for this amazing plant, a gift to humanity from nature. Now #LetsTalkHemp!!!Event Details
