How I work with Clients
depths of your soul.
I believe that true healing comes when emotions are processed rather than just coped with. I believe that each person that walks in my office needs to heard and understood as a human being rather than a diagnosis. I believe that when there is a safe, non-judgmental space to explore our thoughts, new perspectives and understandings of the self can be shaped.
To facilitate processing, I use a neuroscience-informed, mindfulness-based, and somatic methodology approach called Accelerated-Experiential Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). It works wonderfully well in supporting individuals in gaining the body-awareness and insights they need to navigate the difficulties and uncertainties in the world.
Treatment Approach
I operate under the belief that traumas, big and small, is are often tied to many of our mental health presentations, including addiction, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and physical health problems.
I work from a client-centred perspective, which means I consider the client to be in a collaborative working relationship with me. I’m an advocate of flattening hierarchy and being authentic with my clients. This is a space for us to co-create.

1 Review on “Accelerated-Experiential Psychodynamic Psychotherapy”
Angela has an incredibly gentle and comforting presence. I always feel both at ease with her and confident in her skills as a counsellor. Her humility as a human and her competence and professionalism make it easy for me to recommend her as a counsellor❤️
