Originally from California, Dr. Kim has lived in the DC/Baltimore region since 1999. Since completing his medical education and residency, he has since practiced as a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology at Georgetown Hospital and is licensed to practice medicine in DC and VA. At Georgetown, Dr. Kim is the head of the anesthesia medical simulation program, teaching medical students, residents and fellow attending physicians in airway management and moderate sedation. He has extensive experience with ketamine as a sedative, induction agent, analgesic and adjunct for pain management.
