My philosophy is that in every stage in life there is an opportunity for personal growth, acceptance of self and integrating all the parts that make us whole. Helping others build healthy habits and relationships with themselves and others brings meaning to my life as well. As a trained therapist I am equipped to work with a range of mental health concerns and diagnoses. I specialize in the following: Caregiving Concerns, Becoming an Elder, Self Exploration, and Grief & Loss. Together we will evaluate the options available to you, discuss how to navigate family dynamics, create appropriate plans and strategies, and learn about self. Exploring and establishing healthy habits can help one find balance and feel success. Mindful, experiential, and solution-focused approaches are used in counseling. I believe there are many parts that make us whole, and our work together is an avenue to integrate them all. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern with specialization in Older Adults and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. I earned my M.S in Counseling Education and a Certificate in Gerontology. In session we will examine the different aspects of being human through self-observation, exploring one’s past & present patterns, and self-compassion. I provide a kind, calm, safe, and understanding environment. Investing in yourself through therapy is a gift that can keep on giving. Together, we can discover your true being and how you want to live your life.
