Dr. Bianchi became interested in psychedelic therapies as a way to help patients struggling with chronic pain, mental health conditions, and trauma. As an emergency medicine physician working in both community and military practice, he has seen firsthand the challenges these unique patients face. He has shared in their frustration when traditional medical therapies have been inadequate in treating their conditions. This led him to seek novel therapeutic approaches supplemented by psychedelic medications as an adjunct to conventional medical care. Dr Bianchi primarily uses IV Ketamine for the treatment of mood disorders.
Treatment Approach
Dr. Bianchi uses an evidence-based and patient focused approach to providing care to a variety of mental health and chronic pain conditions. While Set and Setting are critical features to successful psychedelic therapy, Dr. Bianchi feels that utilizing science and research to provide safe and efficacious care are equally important to ensuring successful outcomes. His clinical practice avoids the current trend towards larger 'Ketamine Clinics' and instead emphasizes a concierge approach. He works exclusively with his patients in a one on one manner, with a strong emphasis on maximizing each patient's response to treatment.
