A graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Psychology, I’ve provided therapeutic services to patients in the Austin area since 2012. I am working to complete my doctoral work in Clinical Forensic Psychology.
I have a wide-ranging experience working with young children to adults. My therapy patients tend to be young adults and middle aged individuals. Affording insight in the lifespan is my goal, and I focus on reaching that goal in a number of different ways. Ultimately, I leave it to my clients to tell me where they want to go and we find a path to get there. Through better insight and goal-oriented purpose, we identify the outcomes to strive for. My areas of expertise include autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, learning disorders, complications related to early childhood trauma, and behavioral disorders.
I have extensive experience in assessing and addressing trauma and trauma-based concerns, i.e., anxiety and PTSD, and utilize several modalities to address these issues, and to strengthen the coping skills necessary to overcome these concerns. I am also in partnership with local Ketamine clinics to provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
I specialize in a variety of psychological assessments, treatment planning, and work in collaboration with many other health care professionals. Being able to provide treatment options and collaboration with other professionals helps to address all aspects of treatment.
Finally, I’m a strong advocate for mental health to Texas state government officials educators and members of the community.
