How I work with Clients
step by step:
~Write us an email containing your intentions for this experience, any questions you have and how you found us. We will respond within 3 days and will schedule a free 30 minute phone consultation with you to see if we are a good fit for this work. If we decide that we are a good fit then we will have you fill out an additional assessment/intake form to be returned with a $100 non-refundable deposit.
~After the form is completed we will schedule a pre-integration session, your journey, and a post-integration session. The integration sessions will be navigated through the lens of Compassionate Inquiry (CI) to discover the core of your needs and intentions. If more than one session is desired it will be provided for an additional fee. Multiple sessions may be beneficial for many but is not required. Depending on how many we plan, we will schedule the 1 or more sessions with the last (or only) one within 10 days of your journey, the day before is preferable. These can be over Zoom if distance is an issue and you will be traveling for the journey day.
~When we are complete with our pre-integration we will send you logistical instructions on preparation; comfortable clothing, water, light snacks etc, basics. We will also give you the option between a few playlists for your journey with varying energetic directions to choose from. These playlists have been carefully curated for this work, but you can bring your own as well if that feels best. Eye-covering and head phones are provided. Two days of resting post journey need to be planned as well, no rushing in to work and responsibilities.
~We come to you at your location (if it is in or near Butte County), or we can help arrange travel to us if needed. Journeys typically last 6 to 8 hours. We begin with a small ceremony that can be adjusted to your religious or spiritual views and values. You will be guided through some somatic awareness to send you off on your journey. We will always be right there, attuned to you and present, available for assistance, navigation, processing and also as a quiet, loving, accepting/non-judgmental presence holding sacred space for you and whatever may show up. We stay throughout the entire process and leave when you are ready for that.
~Post-integration is often best a few days to a week after the journey, where we will go over your experience and process it, again, through the lens of Compassionate Inquiry. More CI sessions are available at an additional cost, and may benefit many but are not required.
~For a journey and one pre- and post- integration session we receive a sliding scale of $1,000 to $500, pay what you can within this range. Additional CI sessions are $100 each. For a dual male/female sitter journey we receive a sliding scale of $1500 to $1000. Payments are due the day before your journey. Payments for additional CI sessions are due separately at the time of those sessions.
~Additional CI sessions can provide a more powerful healing experience in your psychedelic journey, having gotten through some groundwork and understanding of the traumas that lay at the root of your challenges, and what may come up in your journey. We recommend up to 5 additional CI sessions before your final pre-integration session for getting the most out of your experience, but this is a personal choice and not a requirement.
~Ongoing CI sessions following a journey, or also without a journey, are available. They are often transformative on their own.

Treatment Approach
Pre- and post- integration approach:
Compassionate Inquiry is a somatic-based psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that is simple, deep reaching, time-efficient and transformative.
“The purpose of Compassionate Inquiry is to drill down to the core stories people tell themselves – to get them to see what story they are telling themselves unconsciously; what those beliefs are, where they came from; and guide them to the possibility of letting go of those stories, or letting go of the hold those stories have on them … That’s what Compassionate Inquiry is.” ~ Dr. Gabor Maté
We help you listen to your bodys’ wisdom as we journey through the stepping stones towards understanding you and dissolving all self-judgments in the way of self-compassion.
