How I work with Clients
I believe that the greatest untapped strength of humans is in our ability to connect and to practice love.
My favorite definition of love comes from the book All About Love by bell hooks. She quotes M. Scott Peck: "Love is the will to extend one's self for the purpose of nurturing one's own or another's spiritual growth... Love is as love does. Love is an act of will, both an intention and an action."
In my practice, I help people get into deeper connection and love with themselves and the world around them, from other humans to animals, plants, fungi, minerals, and beyond. Psychedelic work is such a powerful way to catalyze this process of coming home to our true nature, so I am here on the other side of that to help you integrate more love and presence in your daily life.
I am affirming of all genders, sexualities, and relationship orientations. I try to tailor our work together to fit with what your worldview is and what experiences you've had, what resonates with you, how you like to learn and grow. I often draw on the wisdom of nature in my coaching work, as I find this speaks to many of us and deepens our connection to the earth (which research shows can have long-term benefits for our mental and physical health).
I have helped people to bridge family/friend/social divides over psychedelic medicine, as many of our loved ones are still in the dark about the healing potential of psychedelics. I also provide psychedelic career development coaching for anyone who is interested in becoming part of this movement. If desired, I offer accountability reminders and support between sessions through text check-ins.

I’ve studied a variety of teachings, many of which I draw on in my coaching practice: somatics, meditation, vipassana, yoga, self-expression, the Wheel of Consent, restorative and transformative justice, anti-oppressive strategies for social change, climate justice, nonviolent communication, authentic relating, permaculture and regenerative land care, and more. My coaching practice is informed by environmental and social justice. I am a permaculture designer; I graduated from Starhawk's Earth Activist Training in 2017 and I regularly infuse permaculture principles into my coaching work. The permaculture lens also shapes my perspective on psychedelic communities and the psychedelic movement, within which I see a number of ethical dilemmas and issues.

I have a podcast called The Psychedologist: consciousness positive radio. The theme of the show is consciousness, its infiniteness and many ways to be explored. The platform is intended to center voices who are from historically oppressed groups, especially in fields that are white/male dominated (like psychedelic research). Check it out anywhere podcasts are hosted, and at www.thepsychedologist.com
I have written a number of articles about psychedelics for Psychable and for Lucid News, DoubleBlind and Psymposia. View those on my website: https://thepsychedologist.com/category/articles/
