Dr. Munjal Shroff was born in New York City and raised in Atlanta. After earning his medical degree, he completed his adult and child psychiatry training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. After his psychiatric training he continued his sleep medicine fellowship at the Sleep Disorders Center at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He is currently an attending physician at Ridgeview Institute, where he served as President of the Medical Staff. He is a speaker at regional and area meetings focusing on the overlap of sleep and psychiatric illnesses. He has also served on the Professional Advisory Board at Skyland Trail Hospital, and is an instructor of medical students at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia Campus. Dr. Shroff is one of the few psychiatrists in the area who is board certified in both psychiatry and sleep medicine. This gives him a unique advantage in the treatment of both psychiatric and sleep disorders.

Dr Shroff is wonderful, caring and a great psychiatrist. He helped the staff at Ridgeview pull me through a very dark time and has continued to work with me since.
He is very busy and as is the nature of psychiatry, does get backed up from time to time, but he and his staff are great!
Dr. Shroff is just wonderful! He is very easy to talk to, and his staff is great too!
Saw him for anxiety and didnt even look at me once just asked me a few questions, interrupted my explanations and was trying to get to the next patient. Makes me want to give up
Dr. Schroff is a caring and wise psychiatrist. Anxiety is a confusing maze that can negatively impact your life. Dr. Schroff patiently listened to my challenges and worked with me on the appropriate and safest medicines to allow me to begin to recover. His approach is conservative and he gives you the full story on the pros and cons of any medicines while emphasizing the importance of counseling and other non-pharmacological options. I trust and highly recommend him.
I see Dr. Shroff for sleep medicine. He is primarily a psychiatrist, but he is definitely knowledgeable about sleep disorders too. He is really easy to work with, and willing to work with you however you are most comfortable; and he wants you to feel as good as you possibly can. He has been great about putting me in touch with other experts as well when I have had specific questions that were outside of his area.
