During my first visit with Dr. Jones, our time was mostly questions and answers. He watches, listens, and seemed to see the conflict of my emotions, and noted that what I am saying may or may not link with the words, but does not make any judgments. In one session, I became aware of communication barriers that I put up all by myself. Barriers that make it harder to get a point across to him, and probably others as well. What he offer’s is a safe place to explore some of my deeper fears and experiences that create tougher barriers that become hard walls as I get older. Life is too short to be tripping over the same stuff over and over again. Thank you Dr. Jones.
I’m so happy I found Dr. Jones. Immediately he gives you the feeling he genuinely cares about your well-being and will work with you to get where you want to go. He made more eye contact with me in our first session than my last doctor did in over a year of appointments, isn’t at all judgmental, paid attention to my body language, and asks really good questions. There aren’t a lot of doctors like Dr. Jones and I really can’t recommend him enough!
This guy was truly awful. He spent zero time explaining his “method” and then expected me to be totally on board immediately without getting to know me at all. He made me feel incredibly unsafe. He was very judgmental, lacked any kind of empathy, and then told me he couldn’t help me. He’s so dedicated to his “method” that he can’t see when someone is right in front of him in real trouble. I left his office feeling way more suicidal than when I came in. A completely traumatic experience.
I have never admired or respected a health care practitioner more than this man. I have been seeing Dr. Jones for about a year now and he is attentive, nonjudgmental and brilliant. I feel safe talking to him, he is very patient and a great listener. I never feel rushed during our sessions and I truly believe he cares about my mental health.
Dr Jones is great. Hands down the best psychiatrist I have had since I started treating my symptoms in 2014.
I started seeing him in late 2018, after several (around 8) unsuccessful previous attempts to deal with my condition.
He is extremely competent and smart. After trying out new combinations of medications, for the first time in years I’m in remission and he had a fundamental role in this outcome.
Besides that, he is a compassionate human and treats me with empathy and kindness.
Finally, I just found some issues in my liver and he took the steps needed to understand whether it was being driven by my medication.
I feel happy he is my psychiatrist and genuinely can say he provides a great service.
