I am a psychologist, retired from clinical and quality improvement work in mental health systems. My research interests are in consciousness and parapsychology. I studied and received my PhD under Duncan Blewett who worked with Hoffer and Osmond in the treatment of alcoholism with LSD in the 1950’s. After an early retirement, I worked as a research associate for seven years at the University of Arizona with Gary Schwartz, PhD, at the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health. My experience includes teaching university level psychology courses, computer science courses, and graduate level quality improvement courses. I am an investitured member (“the mysterious scientist”) of the Baker Street Irregulars and an inveterate punster.
