Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills help persons with suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. Developing these skills will improve your ability to be mindful, to regulate emotions, to tolerate distress, and to be effective in your relationships. Teaching these skills for the past 8 years has improved my own ability to navigate life’s challenges. Learning these skills builds confidence, assurance of self, and opens alternatives to getting out of the immediate stuck pattern of thoughts and actions you find yourself in.
