Located just across the river from Astoria, Oregon, Rose Creek Retreat is the Lower Columbia’s newest outdoor destination. Nestled between two riverine ghost towns, this natural oasis was crafted from former logging lands into a private eco-retreat. It’s a unique and impressively photogenic gem featuring wildlife, serenity and meditative beauty.
Rose Creek is a mix of boutique camping, wildlife sanctuary, and edible agro-forestry restoration project. Here you can watch eagles hunt while ships float by, enveloped by the scents of heirloom roses, after picking berries in the afternoon sun. Or take a walk along the stream at dusk, perhaps the owls will be about!
There are no RVs or large campers; you’ll have no immediate neighbors, as we only rent each of our secluded sites to one camping party.
